Petřín Funicular - Collectible SEVA Building System

A collectible model of the new Petřín funicular made from the legendary Czech SEVA building system, created during the period when the original funicular was out of operation and the new design by Anna Marešová designers was being realised.

The model was developed to introduce the future form of the funicular to the public during the reconstruction period. It translates the architectural and design qualities of the proposal into a buildable object, connecting contemporary Czech industrial design with the tradition of technical construction systems.

Like significant world landmarks that exist in the form of architectural models, the Petřín funicular now has its own design representation. The building set was created in collaboration between Anna Marešová designers and the Prague Public Transport Company (DPP).
